Our forklift training program is designed to balance theoretical knowledge with practical skills, ensuring our participants are well-prepared for real-world challenges. The course is divided into two main components: theoretical lessons and practical training. The emphasis in our forklift courses is on practical training. Theory forklift training

The theoretical part of our course covers a wide range of topics essential for safe and efficient forklift operation. Participants will learn about:

Practical forklift training

In the practical part of our course, participants will engage in hands-on training sessions under the guidance of experienced instructors. These sessions include:

• Daily control

• Cold stacking, pallet and drive-in racks
• Loading and unloading of containers and trailers
• Battery and engine maintenance
• Awareness of hazards and risks

Is a forklift certificate mandatory?

When employees within an organization drive a forklift, a certificate is not legally required or necessary. However, the employer is responsible for ensuring a "sufficient" level of training for drivers. Getting a forklift certificate proves very clearly that expert training has taken place.

The last thing you want to deal with after an incident is a discussion about instructions with the insurance company. Obligations are set by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and insurers. As such, a dangerous machine such as a forklift should not be driven just by anyone. So always pay attention to the validity of a forklift certificate.

If a forklift certificate has expired, it is mandatory to renew it. A forklift certificate has a validity of five years. The Dutch Labor Inspection checks whether drivers have a forklift certificate or thorough instructions have been given.
